Earth Hour

Earth Hour is a voluntary action by turning off your lights at home for an hour. It is conducted on Saturday of the 3rd week anually. The participants are increasing on each year, where in 2010, 1.5 million people from 4,616 cities in 128 countries participate.

Then what we can do with the lights off? Here are some things you can do:

  1. Sleeping ( Without Air-Conditioner! )
  2. Make a campfire and barbecue party with friends or family
  3. Have a candle-light dinner in a Saturday night!
  4. Going to a crowdy place, leaving your home with the lights off
  5. Making shadows with the candle
  6. Telling stories with your family etc.
  7. Playing board games
Other important thing is, we can reduce the pollution of the Earth.
We can also feel how the village people suffer without electricity!
But before Earth Hour, ensure that your mobile phones, laptops or other vital communication devices are fully charged!
